There are many bulbul in my garden.  Their nests are all over.  They are very noisy calling each other especially in the morning around 6am.  Anyway this is good morning call.

Lizard

                              Taken with Sony Dslr A390
                               1/100    f8.0

I like this one but the left side is too dark because I overlooked the shadow.  I saw this lizard sunbathing in my garden and was in a hurry to get a shot before it decide to move to cooler area.

                              Sony Dslr A390
                              1/100    f8.0

Took this shot  from a different angle.  Not so much shadow this time.  For both photos, I was using the Tamron 70-300mm lens with macro mode on.

Sunset

Sunset and sunrise - both are the best time to capture the wonderful effect of earth's beauty.  However, it is easier to photograph sunset and I've seen many photos on this.  Sunrise is too early and having to get to the location for a good view in the early hours do not appeal to me, and I think to many others too.  Furthermore, the sun's ray during sunset is not so bright and strong and the glow especially on water is very beautiful.  Below are some of my photos on sunset.

Travel photos

Everybody loves to travel - so do I.  I've been to Europe, England, China, Australia, Indonesia and of course our neighbours Thailand and Singapore.  I frequently travel in a group of 4 or 6, i.e. with my brothers-in-law.

When in a small group and not rushing for time, one will be able to capture many beautiful scenes.  I do not like to join tour groups as there are too many people and the guide will take you to places where every other guide goes.  People will be getting into you photos.  It is very annoying.  This is what I experienced during my China trip.  A few times we joined the local tour and the places we went were packed with China's local tourists.  Furthermore, we had to rush from one spot to another as other groups arrived.  It is impossible to take any good shots.

My wife and myself had to rushed to this spot for this photo.
