The morning sun is too strong & bright.  See the contrast and the reflection on the leaves.

After a slight shower, the sun shining on the water droplets on the leaves gives a fantastic effect.

A sharp shot will not show the glistening effect. 

Hat Yai, Thailand

Although I've been to Hat Yai a few times, this is the first time I've visited

the Hat Yai floating market.  The event is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday

only from 5.00pm to 9.00pm.  This is a must see attraction with food, etc. sold on water and land.  Above the canal there are many more stalls attracting lots of visitors, locals and tourists.

Penang, Malaysia

Penang is an island.  It is the tourist destination for locals as well as international visitors. Other than the beaches, the other attractions are heritage buildings, great variety of food and culture.

The Common Birdwing (Troides helena)

Managed to get a few shots of this beauty this morning.  The sun was bright and hot and the flowers are in full bloom thereby attracting this butterfly and others.
